Vintage! Second-hand haori, jackets for Japanese kimono.
 
Welcome into the world of water with the Mizu-Mon 水紋 pattern! This immense stretch of water that surrounds Japan all around has inspirde this country with a great number of fantastic patterns, each more incredible than the next!  At the heart of this  silk canvas as blue as the ocean, Nami 波 the rising waves . And just like the sea spray that splashes in the air as it breaks off the crests of the waves,  the white color dye splashes in droplets all over the entire fabric of the haori. An extremely lively interpretation of the Namishibuki motif 波飛沫, the sea spray that comes off the waves. Very graphic, modern and full of style! Note also the strings are a perfect mach to the motif of this haori.  The haura, the inner lining, plunges us into a floral picture, a field of large flowers whose touches of blue take up the general tone of the jacket.  Although these flowers are not identifiable, one cannot help but see the dynamic movement with which they are painted. Swirls of waves, swirls of flowers, or how to associate the elements of nature through the gestures of the artist. This jacket  is in excellent condition and you can wear it with no problem!

The haori, a jacket worn over a Japanese kimono, is perhaps THE Japanese garment that TABITABIYA fell in love with the most!
