An easy to use and elegant tote bag for your every day! To make this tote bag, I chose a vintage obi belt decorated with a magnificent Kasamatsu 笠松 pattern. This pattern of pine needles in the shape of a woven bamboo hat and branches firmly tied together is often found on high-ranking obi and kimono. I paired it with a totally different fabric to give it a modern feel.

And what's more, this bag is very practical because it has 2 interior pockets and it closes with a magnetic button. You can easily carry all that you need to take with you when you choose to take your obi bag for your outings. Even though this bag is made of fabric, it has been reinforced to give it a beautiful shape and a nicely firm body.
